The 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center of the Murcia Region received a call at 1:42 p.m. reporting a traffic accident on the Venta del Olivo to Calasparra road at Park 2.5.

The caller reports that three vehicles were involved in the accident and that one of the injured was a pregnant woman. They also report that the vehicles were blocking the road, requesting civil guard assistance to regulate traffic.

The 061 Medical Coordinator in the 1-1-2 Room has mobilized a total of five ambulances from the Murcian Health Service (one Mobile Emergency Unit, one ambulance from the Cieza emergency service, and three chartered ambulances).

Medical personnel from the Emergency Department treated a total of 10 people, all of whom were transferred to the Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza.

The Emergency Medical Unit (UME) transported the pregnant woman, and the Emergency Department ambulance transported a woman. In total, the ambulances transported eight patients: six adults and two children aged two years and 17 months.

All were slightly injured, the most affected being a 39-year-old man who suffered a concussion, upper limb bruises, and multiple injuries.
