The young artist from Cieza, Antonio José Villa Vázquez, has been chosen by the Royal Brotherhood of
Jesus -Nazarene- to give shape to the Poster of the Act of the Arrest of the Holy Week of
Cieza 2024. The brotherhood seeks to provide a new approach and a new vision.
artistic, of the nineteenth century act, and for this it has been decided to count on the vision of the young
Ciezano, a lover of his Holy Week and who, despite his short career, already has a long history
curriculum in the world of brotherhoods with numerous pictorial works.
Villa Vázquez has already represented with his brushes several Holy Weeks such as,
Murcia International in 2022, Alhama de Murcia in 2023 or
Alberca de las Torres in 2019. Anniversaries such as the 50th Anniversary of Our Lady of the
Huerta de Los Ramos (2021) or the 75th Anniversary of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Forgiveness of
Archena (2022).
For Cieza, his work is largely linked to our brotherhood, carrying out his first
works in 2018, within the commemorative events of our 325th Anniversary, with
posters such as the one for the “Camino del Calvario” Exhibition or the one for the Extraordinary Procession.
