The next Family School event, sponsored by the Department of Education, will take place this Thursday, February 23, at the Capitol Theater, at 5:00 p.m., and will feature César Bona.
César Bona holds a degree in English Philology and a diploma in Foreign Language Teaching. He was chosen as Teacher of the Year in 2015. He served on the jury for the Princess of Asturias Awards in the Communication and Humanities category in 2017 and 2018 and teaches at various postgraduate programs at several universities.
Believes in education as a means to create whole beings, not merely employable ones.
María Ramos, Councilor for Education, says she is very pleased with the positive reception of this project, as it is "an activity that brings together teachers and families to find common ground and strategies for educating young children." She also expresses her pride that the Cieza City Council "has been able to count on someone like César Bona, who, beyond conceiving education as a means of accumulating knowledge, believes in transmitting values in schools."
"César Bona is an event that neither teachers nor families should miss."
