From Friday, May 18th to June 29th, a new edition of the "Tírate al Barrio 2018" program kicks off. The City Council's Departments of Citizen Participation and Culture are presenting a series of activities that will bring leisure and culture to the neighborhoods of Cieza.

Once again this year, all the activities have been developed in collaboration with the neighborhood associations: the Santa Clara La Ermita Neighborhood Association, the San Juan Bosco Neighborhood Association, the San José Obrero Neighborhood Association, and the Ascoy Neighborhood Association.

May 18, Puppets 'In search of my story' by Taranta shows at 7 p.m. at the PPrince of Asturias Arch.

June 22, Open-air family cinema 'Son of Bigfoot' at 10 p.m. at the Ascoy Hostel.

Below we describe the activities planned by the Department of Museums, and the Siyâsa Volunteer Cultural Association has organized Christmas workshops and the "A Book Against Hunger" activity to be held during December and January at the Siyâsa Museum in Cieza.

December 11, at 8 p.m. at the Siyâsa Museum, lecture by Pascual Lucas Motellón, 'FotoFaunaCieza'.

December 12 "A Book Against Hunger," an exchange of a book for a kilo of food, is organized by Siyâsa Volunteers. All proceeds will go to the Cieza Red Cross.

December 13 January 13, 2019 exhibition by Antonio Velasco, `Orientalist Painting'.

December 14 January 6, 2019 exhibition 'Alambique' by Manuel López Martínez.

December 18th, inauguration of the Municipal Nativity Scene at 7:30 p.m.

December 27 Concert by Carlos Piñana and students from the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Region of Murcia at 7:30 p.m.

December 29Drawing workshop led by José Semitiel Segura from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

December 29, Theatrical tour by the Creadero Teatro Cultural Association to the Siyâsa Museum, two showings at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

January 5, 2019Drawing workshop led by Juan Antonio Abellán and Ideak Studio from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., free registration at the Siyâsa Museum.

New program of guided tours to sites in Cieza such as: the La Serreta Cave-Sinkhole in the Almadenes Canyon, and the Islamic site of Medina Siyâsa in La Atalaya.

Visits are suitable for all ages and are free for children under 14.

– 12:30 p.m. in the Cave, 2nd shift.
