The Atalaya Club, founded in 1967, was refounded as the Ateneo Association of the Town of Cieza on April 14, 1986, the anniversary of the Second Spanish Republic.

The photography exhibition for the 6th "La Floración de Cieza" competition features the three winning photographs and those selected for the competition, which kicks off the events commemorating the 2018 Cieza Flowering Festival.
This exhibition is organized by the CAF Cieza Photography Association and sponsored by the Cieza City Council. The exhibition will be open from February 15 to March 17 at the Siyâsa Museum, located at 17 San Sebastián Street, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Another of the many exhibitions that can be seen during these days of Bloom in Cieza is the exhibition "Windows" by the Cieza painter José Víctor Villalba at Ideak Estudio, located at 14 Diego Marín Barnuevo Street, across from Miguel de Cervantes School.
The exhibition will be open to the public from February 16 to March 9.

The photography exhibition by Cieza native Fernando Galindo Tormo, "Flowering in Cieza," is now open to visitors at the Siyâsa Museum in Cieza, located at 17 San Sebastián Street.
The exhibition will be on view from February 16 to March 17 at the museum, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The author of the same, Fernando Galindo, invites us publicly to make known to everyone this exhibition that reflects the great flowering of the fields of Cieza.

The collective and solidarity exhibition "Injertos" (Grafts), in support of the Nueva Fundación Los Albares, will be open from February 17 to March 17 at the Molino Cebolla Museum.
The works consist of combining different artistic techniques based on photographs of the Cieza Flowering. Each artist will reinterpret the image, adding their own personal and artistic touch.
From this fusion of pictorial techniques comes the name chosen for the exhibition "Grafts", very much in line with the theme used as base, agriculture and flowering.
All photographs were taken by Carlos J. Lucas González, the exhibition organizer, in different locations in our town.

On Monday, March 19, the first event commemorating the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Virgin of La Piedad to Cieza took place at the Efe Serrano Gallery in Cieza, with the inauguration of the anniversary exhibition.
Until April 29, we'll be able to enjoy a comprehensive exhibition on the imagery of José Capuz y Mamano, author of the Pietà.

The exhibition "Cieza, Belle Époque: Photographs of the Moxó-Ruano Family" opened this Wednesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Padre Salmerón Library in Cieza.
The exhibition will be open from March 21 to April 10. The photographs are from the General Archive of the Region of Murcia. Javier Castillo and Remedios Sancho curated the exhibition.

From Saturday, April 28th to May 13th, the Siyâsa Museum in Cieza will host an exhibition of Nazarene imagery to commemorate the 325th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Brotherhood of Jesus of Nazareth.
With a total of 21 works by 14 sculptors from 15 locations in the Region of Murcia and the province of Albacete, the Brotherhood of Jesus is making available to the people of Cieza, and anyone who visits the Siyâsa Museum during the first half of May, a wide selection of the finest images of Jesus of Nazareth in the Levant.
With works by renowned sculptors such as Palma Burgos, Sánchez Lozano, Clemente Cantos, Pinazo Martínez, Hernández Navarro, and Ciezans Carrillo Marco and Yuste Navarro, among others, and highlighting the presence of an 18th-century image from the Neapolitan school from Caravaca de la Cruz, it is undoubtedly an exhibition of great artistic quality.

Everything is now ready for the new exhibition of Murcian inventors, with new prototypes and documents that have come to light.
This exhibition will bring together inventors from across the region between 1878 and 1966 to showcase new research and prototypes.
The exhibition is part of the 2nd History Conference organized by the Cieza City Council and the University of Murcia. The exhibition is organized by the Fray Pasqual Salmerón Center for Historical Studies in collaboration with the Integra Foundation.
It can be visited from May 4th to 19th, from 4pm to 10pm, at the Cieza Folklore Center, located at Empedrá 9, Cieza.

As part of the activities for the 2nd Cieza History Conference, the Cieza City Council and the University of the University of Cieza (UMU) have organized the photography exhibition "El Menjú: Cultural Heritage of Cieza" by Lorena Martínez Martínez.
The exhibition is curated by María Dolores Piñera Ayala from Cieza. With this project, Lorena Martínez seeks to unite, through photomontage, a selection of sixteen photographs taken during fieldwork carried out on the El Menjú estate with historical photographic archives of its architectural elements and of people who lived and visited the site, generating new and unusual visions of the estate.
The exhibition can be visited at the Siyâsa Museum in Cieza, at 17 San Sebastián Street, until Sunday, May 20.
