The night of Saturday, May 11th, will be remembered forever. From those attending the opening concert of the symphony series, to the musicians on stage, to every person involved in the Cieza Art and Culture Association. They all gave their all so that, during the hour and twenty minutes of the concert, the audience could enjoy a quality performance and realize what can be achieved if you truly believe in something.
The first part was a journey through the overtures to Mozart's The Magic Flute, Arriaga's The Happy Slaves, and Rossini's Cenerentola. All of them were technically complex and performed with great passion.
However, this first part would be nothing more than an appetizer for what was to come. The concert had been dubbed "Thinking About Fate" for a reason, and the symphony of destiny, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, filled the entire theater with music of the highest caliber during a spectacular second part, which ended with widespread applause from the entire audience.
The Cieza Philharmonic Association and project are immensely grateful for all the trust placed in them and this initiative, which has required so much work and effort, especially to the sponsors, the Department of Culture, and all the city council representatives who were present at the concert. Therefore, they reiterate the words they used during the 10th Anniversary: "If you want, if the public wants, there's music here for a while."
