The National Geographic Institute reports that an earthquake was recorded in Cieza on Friday night, which caused no personal or material damage.
The IGN indicates that the tremor occurred at 22:24:45 hours, registered a magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale, located its epicenter northeast of Cieza and placed its hypocenter at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Initially, pending further review, the tremor was not felt by the population.
