Tadeo Jones travels to Las Vegas to attend the presentation of archaeologist Sara Lavroff's latest discovery: the papyrus that proves the existence of the Necklace of Midas, the mythical King who turned everything he touched into gold. But their happy reunion is marred when an evil rich man kidnaps Sara in order to find the talisman and obtain infinite riches.
