The National Geographic Institute has recorded two earthquakes in Cieza and one in Ricote in the early hours of this Monday, which have not caused personal or material damage.
IGN reports that the tremor occurred at 00:09 hours today, Monday, registered a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale, its hypocenter was superficial and its epicenter was located northeast of Cieza.
Later, at 05:56 hours, Cieza registered a new tremor, in this case also of magnitude 2.2 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter northeast of Cieza and its hypocenter located at a depth of 3 kilometers.
At 06:44 the earth shook in Ricote.
The earthquake's epicenter was located southwest of Ricote, with its hypocenter at a depth of 33 kilometers and registering a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale.
There is no evidence that the movements were felt by the population.
