The program will begin on May 18, International Museum Day, with a live radio broadcast from 10:00 to 12:00, hosted by Onda Cieza, from the museum itself on San Sebastián Street. In the afternoon, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a children's storytelling session on the rooftop of the municipal museum, led by Aurora Montoya. A guided tour of the Esparto Museum, the exhibition "The Prado Takes to the Streets" at the municipal library, and the "Wokonda Street" exhibition by the Scout Cieza San Jorge Group round out the day's events.
The Siyâsa Museum will host the aforementioned theatrical performance by Emilio Iniesta on May 19th at 8:30 p.m., starring actress Mercedes Dato. This same play will be performed again on May 21st at the same time and location. The following day, the group exhibition 'Portraits' will open at 8:00 p.m., spread across the Efe Serrano Gallery and the municipal museum itself. The day will conclude with a performance by Tovarich on San Sebastián Street.
On May 21st, the program will include visits to the Esparto Museum (12:00 pm) and the Holy Week Museum, where the Big Band Sijazz-a will perform (7:00 pm), as well as a theatrical tour of the Folklore Center and a performance of 'Life Before' (10:00 pm). Art-encounters on the museum's rooftop, organized by the Cieza Artists Association (8:30 pm), and a guided theatrical tour of the Siyâsa archaeological site (8:00 pm), led by a guide and the Las Fiestas del Escudo theater group from the Brotherhood of San Bartolomé, will round out the program.
All activities will be in person, with the only restriction being capacity limits. Likewise, all will be free and open to the public, except for the storytelling session 'Painters' on the rooftop, the theatrical performance of 'Being a Woman in Siyâsa,' and the dramatized tour of the Atalaya archaeological site, which will require prior registration.
