The Community extends the curfew and confinement of the Region and its municipalities for 14 days.

The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia published at 00:00h this Monday the extension of the measures contained in the decrees approved on October 26 and 29 to contain the spread of covid in the Autonomous Community.

This extends for 14 days the restrictions on group gatherings to a maximum of 6 people in non-regulated activities, the perimeter closure of the Autonomous Community and its 45 municipalities, and the curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. These restrictions will remain in effect until November 22, pending the evolution of the pandemic in the Region of Murcia.

According to the perimeter lockdown, citizens will only be able to travel between municipalities or outside the Region for a justified and "strictly necessary" reason such as going to work, for educational reasons, health issues or going to take care of a dependent person.

Regarding the curfew from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM, movement is generally prohibited during these hours except for the reasons specified in the regulations (buying medicine, going to work, returning home, caring for elderly or minors). During these hours, establishments offering essential services, such as healthcare facilities and pharmacies, may remain open.

This extension of restrictive measures comes one day after the entry into force of another order suspending activity in restaurant establishments for 14 days in the Region of Murcia.
