This marketing campaign aims to expand the event's reach to attract more tourists while boosting the visit of Cieza residents and attendees. With this and the other new features of the event, Saborarte is at the forefront of regional gastronomic fairs.
The aim of this competition is to provide creative businesses with the opportunity to showcase Cieza and its gastronomy. The 'Saborarte 2019' event will take place from March 7th to 10th of this year. The competition will be conducted through the rules published on the Cieza City Council website, which must comply with the rules outlined therein.
Specifically, the winning idea will receive a maximum of 1,200 euros to develop during the gastronomic event. It will be awarded for its originality, conceptual development of the flowering image, economic viability, and effectiveness in achieving the competition's objectives.
The deadline for submitting ideas is next Monday, February 14th. The jury will then be formed to select the idea that best meets the aforementioned criteria. The jury's decision will be announced during the month of February.
The gastronomic fair, located in Cieza's Plaza de España, establishes the municipality as the regional gastronomic capital. The event has acquired a significant culinary caliber, with the establishments that set up there achieving regional impact, and the training combines the promotion of local produce with new techniques for Ciezan cuisine.
In this regard, the Councilor for Commerce, María Jesús López, states that SaborArte Cieza has established itself as a driving force for gastronomic specialization in our municipality. “Municipal hospitality establishments, along with the best from across the region, attend presentations that showcase new cooking and preparation techniques. Along with the Floración project, Saborarte is becoming a highly attractive weekend destination for tourists, achieving economic benefits for bars, restaurants, and local businesses.”
