The Cieza City Council has issued an official statement confirming a case of COVID-19 in Cieza.
The patient has been transferred to the special unit of the Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia for treatment.
Due to established health protocols:
▶️ Anyone with symptoms of mild respiratory conditions will be treated as a "possible or suspected case" and placed in home isolation.
▶️Anyone with more severe symptoms will be tested, especially essential workers such as healthcare workers and police officers.
From now on, according to instructions from the Ministry of Health, all information regarding the existence of cases and due to confidentiality towards patients, will be provided by the health authorities.
