Chronicle of the last basketball day of the Siyâsa Basket Club

The internet shouts, "Conquer and convince in the leader's house!"

It was an intense day of basketball for the various teams of the Deportivo Siyâsa Basket club. The youngest players, the boys and girls of the IBEROTRUCKS LEVANTE mixed U10 team, kicked things off, hosting Águilas. Our team played well, despite the superiority of their opponents, who remain undefeated and have proven to be the best team in the group. This defeat does not diminish the magnificent season the club's youngest players are having.

The SAORIN girls' cadet team hosted Marme. The home team could do little against the incomprehensible officiating and the inconsistent application of the rules (we only took 3 free throws compared to the visitors' 28), preventing the determined Cieza players from getting into the game. They suffered a 24-62 defeat in a match everyone involved would rather forget.

VENTA EL GINETE's mixed mini team once again put on a display of skill against Costera Sur. Superior technique and tactics, along with an extra level of intensity, secured another victory, 87-56, maintaining their lead and undefeated record.

GRITA INTERNET traveled to face the undefeated league leaders, Calasparra. The Cieza team had a shaky start, which the home team capitalized on to build a maximum lead of 17 points. Far from giving up, our boys found their rhythm and chipped away at the deficit until they were down by just one point in the final possession. A three-pointer in the final seconds secured a magnificent 59-61 victory, demonstrating the quality of this team.

The IBÉRICOS VÍCTOR GÓMEZ girls' youth team faced another derby against Abarán. It was a close game, only broken by a 16.1-point run against them and numerous missed easy baskets that were quickly answered by fast breaks from the opposition. The 59-36 defeat does not diminish the magnificent performance and the upward trend of recent matches.
