Arrested for allegedly committing several robberies in homes and businesses.

Officers from the Cieza Local Police received several calls alerting them that a man had been seen on the rooftops of several houses in the old town.

They quickly moved to the area in question and were called by several alarmed neighbors who said they had seen a man trying to access a house through the terraces.

The officers inspected the rooftops and confirmed that the suspect had fled, but there were indications that he had broken into an apartment, stealing several pieces of jewelry.

They subsequently received several calls because they had tried to force open two businesses but were unable to gain access inside.

In response to these events, a surveillance operation was carried out and thanks to citizen collaboration, a man was caught red-handed inside a shop after forcing open the shutter and breaking into the cash register.

Upon inspecting the interior of the premises, the officers found the suspected thief well hidden between a wall and a cold storage room.

Upon proceeding with his arrest and weighing the evidence of the previous robberies, it was determined in the first instance that he could be the perpetrator of such crimes; therefore, he was transferred to the Civil Guard to continue with the investigations.
He was investigated for two robberies committed and three other attempted robberies.

Upon checking the detainee's background, it was found that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and detention for other robberies.
