Thousands of musicians from various bands in the Region of Murcia will fill the city streets with music in full bloom, blending sound sensations with the visuals typical of this time of year in Cieza.
Last week, a meeting took place between the president of the Regional Federation of Music Bands, Ginesa C. Zamora, and the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas. The meeting was also attended by the president of the Cieza Municipal Band Association, host of the meeting, Ricardo Moreno, and the Councilor for Tourism, Antonio Moya.
The meeting served to finalize details for the Regional Day of the Federation of Music Bands, which will bring together more than 1,000 musicians from 22 bands from across the Region of Murcia in Cieza on March 5th at the Esquina del Convento at 12 noon.
Beforehand, the different groups will tour various areas of the city separately before converging at the Esquina del Conventos, a parade that will fill the city with music, adding a special note to the flowering activities of that Sunday.
