The Department of Animal Welfare of the Cieza City Council has
warned through a statement of the presence of poison in
some areas of the Paseo Ribereño and the Era.
The note indicates that several animals have recently appeared
dead and others are sick after traveling through those areas.
They beg all people, especially the owners of
pets and those who walk with children, who should take extreme care
precautions.
The Local Police is aware of the situation and has intensified its
presence and surveillance in the area.
Likewise, the City Council requests citizen collaboration.
to identify those guilty of a crime against animal welfare and
public health. If you see people in strange attitudes compatible
with possible poisoners, please notify the police immediately.
