In the assessment of the ordinary September plenary session, the spokesperson for the coalition government team began her appearance by congratulating the public on behalf of the Municipal Corporation for the welcome given to the Fair and Festivities in honor of Saint Bartholomew. "Together, we have made possible a fair and festivities without incident, with a successful turnout, with all scheduled events taking place as normal, thanks to the collaboration of the local police, Civil Guard, firefighters, Red Cross, Civil Protection, municipal services, local groups, and associations."
The Cieza City Council has approved a series of new tax incentives that affect all large families in the municipality—984 to be exact. This was announced by the spokesperson for the governing team, María Turpín, at a press conference in which she reviewed the September plenary session. This measure was approved at the plenary session on September 5th and is the result of a programmatic agreement between the Popular Party and Vox because, as Turín explained, "it affects the Property Tax (IBI) and the garbage bill."
In his words, "In these first 80 days of government, we have achieved a reduction that is financially affordable for the Cieza City Council. The garbage bill will now be at a standard price of €8.54, and special families will receive a 90 percent reduction in their property tax, while large families will receive a 50 percent reduction. Therefore, there will be a greater number of families benefiting, compared to only 284 previously." In this regard, Turpín argued that "the best place for money is in the pockets of citizens."
