BP Benedicto Cieza EB is now a national first division team

A strong game for CORREDOR CIEZA EB Infantil, who secured a 53-44 home victory against a combative Sierramar team. The game began with the Cieza team playing defensively, allowing them to easily score, building a solid lead at the end of the first quarter. However, the second quarter was won by the visiting team, who pressed harder on defense. The home team still held a 10-point lead at halftime. The second half was filled with intense excitement, as both teams were determined to win at all costs. The Cieza team managed to stay ahead as a team despite two expulsions and an injury in the final quarter, winning the game to the delight of the fans.

The cadet team, SIN MAS PIOJITOS CIEZA EB, lost 62-47 to a formidable ESTUDIANTES CARTAGENA side. The poor start to the game was a burden for the Cieza team, which was unable to respond to the home team's attack and committed numerous offensive errors, with countless turnovers and failures in clear tackles. This defeat concludes the season for our cadet team, a season in which we have seen notable improvement from all the players.

Last Saturday's match against CB LUMBRERAS wasn't played due to the opponent's absence, which automatically gave us the win; and UB Archena beat CB Lorca at home... this combination of factors places us second in the group with a record of 17 wins and only 2 losses, and whatever happens in Lorca, we'll finish second in the top regional competition, which gives us direct passage to the first division.

With one very important nuance: all the team members, both players and coaches, have always belonged to the Cieza EB discipline; they are "children of the club" who have developed their entire training from the grassroots level to the top of regional basketball.

Thank you for making us proud.
