The Municipal School Council begins in this new legislature

The Cieza Municipal School Board held its first meeting of the current term this week.

The meeting took place in the Blue Room and is the starting point of a new phase in which this body will address the most relevant issues of education in Cieza. It was chaired by the mayor, Tomás Rubio; the Councilor for Education, María Turpín; and representatives of the educational communities of Cieza's schools, including the Municipal School Council. The municipal school council is a collegiate body comprised of parents, students, teachers, and local government and service personnel, including parents, teachers, and students.

The municipal school council is a collegiate body in which parents, students, teachers, and local administration and service personnel, through their representatives, gather information, make proposals, and provide opinions on matters relevant to improving the quality of education in the municipality.

The Municipal School Council will once again serve as a meeting point for joint work to achieve common goals: "to ensure our children and young people receive the best possible care and receive the best education and training," said sources from the Department of Education.
