Last Friday night, the award ceremony for the Muda Award was presented to the OJE Guide's Home in Cieza on the Balcón del Muro, along with recognition for the career of the Ciezan maestro Francisco García Alcázar by the Knights and Ladies of the Town of Cieça.
The event, presented by Alejo Lucas, a journalist from the 7th Region of Murcia, from Cieza, was presided over by Mayor Tomás Rubio, who was accompanied by Cristóbal Herrera, president of the San Bartolomé Brotherhood Cultural Association, and members of the Cieza City Council, as well as various festival officials and presidents of the Kabilas and Mesnadas.
The final touch was provided by the Cieza Municipal Band's Student Band, which performed a pasodoble and a Christian march by composer Azael Tormo.
