On the occasion of the Feast of Corpus Christi this Sunday, June 18, the Solemn Eucharist will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. in the Church of the Assumption, followed by the parade of the float, now blessed with its new finery and lighting, carrying the Blessed Sacrament at 7:15 p.m.
The Parish of the Assumption requests that, to the extent possible, you decorate your balconies with hangings or shawls, and that you offer rose petals from your home as the Eucharist passes by. May it be a moment of joy and jubilation for all the residents of Cieza.
All children who received their First Communion this year are also invited to accompany the Blessed Sacrament dressed in their First Communion attire.
The route where the procession will pass is the following streets: Plaza Mayor, Plaza Cid, Plaza La Parra, Plaza del Comisario, Plaza Rincón de los Pinos, Plaza Larga, Plaza Buitragos, Plaza San Sebastián, Plaza Mesones, Plaza Angostos, Plaza Tercia, Plaza Santo Cristo, Plaza Cánovas del Castillo, Plaza Barco, Plaza Diego Tortosa and Plaza San Pedro.
