This year we were once again able to pull off the cycling school exhibition, although the initial plan was to also include a cadet race, but that ultimately wasn't possible. The Sports Activities Cycling Club would like to thank the Cieza City Council and its Sports Department for organizing the event, which is coordinated by the association.
The race this Sunday, August 20th, will feature five races in different categories, with children ranging from 6/7 years old to 13/14 years old. The races will begin at 10:00 a.m. on a street circuit, with the finish and start at Camino de Murcia, located at number 112.
Before the race, the traditional skills gymkhana for children and youngsters will begin at 9:40 a.m. The competitions will then begin at 10:00 a.m. on the designated street circuit. The circuit is scheduled to open to traffic around 12:30 p.m., the end time of the final race.
The circuit is 1 km long and includes the following streets:
Start at Camino de Murcia, turn at Fuente Nazarí taking Avenida de Abarán, turn right again taking Calle Doctor Gregorio Marañón right at the Nursing Home, you reach Calle Garcilaso de la Vega where you turn right again, you reach Camino de Murcia, where turning right again you reach the finish line.
The first categories will only do one lap, and the last ones are scheduled to do 15 and 20 laps.
Pedestrians and drivers are asked to exercise caution during the test, and all residents are grateful for their cooperation.
Come participate or simply cheer on these little champions; your support is always appreciated.
Don't miss it!!!!
