The 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center of the Region of Murcia received a call at 10:20 a.m. today, Saturday, reporting that a cyclist had fainted and was unconscious in the Sierra de Ascoy in the Mayayo area, going up the hill and past Sierra de Benís in the municipality of Cieza.
The following personnel have been dispatched to the scene:
- Local Police Patrol.
- Civil Guard Patrol.
- Mobile Emergency Unit of the Emergency and Health Care Management 061.
- Environmental Agent with forestry brigade.
Upon arrival, the paramedics reported that the man (approximately 58 years old) was deceased, and they were awaiting the coroner.
