The Department of Citizen Participation expressed its satisfaction with the excellent reception received by the more than 2,000 residents of Cieza who visited it this past Sunday, November 19th, along the Paseo de los Mártires in Cieza.
Nerea Martínez, Councilor for Citizen Participation, also highlights "The large number of participating associations, 35, considering that this was the first time an event of this nature was scheduled, a number we hope to expand next year."
The councilor expressed her gratitude to the participating Cieza associations, "the protagonists of this first Fair, for the work and dedication that characterizes our associative fabric, and for the special care and attention with which they attended to every last detail so that last Sunday's event was a success and fulfilled its objective, which was none other than to bring the associations and their work closer to the residents, by taking to the streets."
“Our priority was to make the associations more visible, and we believe we've achieved our goal: to give the associations a showcase so that the public can learn about their initiatives, activities, workshops, and the services they offer.”
Nerea Martínez emphasized that "The work we are doing from the newly created council to promote citizen participation demonstrates this government's commitment to making progress in this area."
"I can only encourage the municipal associations to continue the excellent work they have been doing for many years, and invite citizens to learn more and join, as it is an excellent way to bring our town to life and contribute to its development," the councilor concludes in her press release.
