From July 21st to 26th, the feast day of Saint Joachim, the neighborhood of that saint celebrates its festivities with numerous religious, cultural, and gastronomic events, as well as children's games, sports, and musical performances. The stage will be located in the Plaza de la Esquina del Convento.
The following events will be held at the Parish of San Joaquín:
From July 23rd to 25th, starting at 7:50 p.m. Major Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Holy Rosary, and meditation on the Exercise. 8:30 p.m. Reservation of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Mass.
Feast of the Patron Saint Joaquín:
On July 26th, Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
At the 8:30 p.m. Mass, a solemn service was held with an offering of flowers and fruit to the patron saint.
At the end of the mass, a solemn procession with the images of St. Joachim and St. Anne takes place along the following route: Corner of the Convent, Cuesta del Chorrillo, Floridablanca, Santa Maria, San Antonio, Camino de Murcia, Carreterica de Posete, Paseo (right bank) and Corner of the Convent.
