The Vega 'Lorenzo Guirao' Hospital in Cieza, which serves the population of Cieza, Abarán, and Blanca, begins its renovation work today. These include the renovation of the air conditioning system in the hospital wards, as well as the entire centralized cooling system.

These operations are carried out in the summer, when the pressure on care is lower, to minimize inconvenience to patients and their families. The goal is to ensure greater reliability in the production of the cold required for the hospital's air conditioning and ensure its proper use in each room. The goal is to ensure the necessary comfort in each hospital room and other areas on these floors.

The work represents an investment of €1,250,432 and includes the replacement of the cold water production equipment used for the hospital's air conditioning in the summer. It also includes replacing the old inductors and convectors in the rooms with new, state-of-the-art equipment.

The renovation will provide the hospital with a centralized climate control system and will allow for the recording of all room temperatures throughout the day. This will ensure optimal conditions for patients at all times, as well as record the conditions of each room over time.

In addition, the water pipes connecting the production equipment to the rooms will be replaced.
