This Saturday the III Cieza 10k will be held in Cieza. The organizers have informed us that if you did not arrive in time to register, you can register on Saturday from 12:00 pm at the bottom of the 10k on Cánovas del Castillo Street (in front of the Holy Week Museum) or by making a pre-reservation at cristodelaagonia@gmail.com
The Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Agony, in collaboration with the Cieza City Council, is organizing this 3rd Cieza 10k, the eleventh round of the popular race circuit in the Region of Murcia, with the start and finish in the Plaza Mayor and scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
The 2016/17 Running Challenge returns to Cieza over a route of approximately 10 kilometres at ain just one lap. Participants will be able to enjoy an urban layout that also includes the banks of the Segura River and its Riverside promenade.
There will be a trophy and gifts for the winner of each of the established categories, as well as gifts for the second and third place finishers. A special prize will also be awarded to the participant who achieves the race record (34:13), set in 2015 by Ahmed El Mansouri. All participants will receive a complete runner's bag with a commemorative technical T-shirt.
In addition, the Cieza10K allocates part of the registration fees to the Association of Families of Children with Cancer of the Region of Murcia (Afacmur) and donates non-perishable food to Cáritas Cieza.
