The idea chosen by the jury focuses on color as a common thread between design and gastronomy and will offer a tasting menu cooked by 8 chefs from the region to the winners of a social media contest
SaborArte will celebrate its third edition in Cieza from March 7th to 10th. This year, the organizers of the gastronomic fair, which is run by the Cieza City Council, have introduced several new features, including their first "SaborArte Performance" competition, an initiative aimed at specialized communication agencies to create a micro-event during the fair.
The competition jury met yesterday to analyze the proposals submitted by the participating communications agencies and select the winner using a scoring system established in the competition rules. Intro Agencia emerged as the winner among all the competing proposals with its event, “Pantone, the full-color gastronomic experience.” This event offers “an experience related to SaborArte, gastronomy, and design, enhancing the product and tourism,” the project explains.
The event will feature a menu inspired by the Pantone colors of the season. Eight chefs from the region will cook almost simultaneously in front of diners in SaborArte's main kitchen. Only 12 winners of a social media contest will have the opportunity to sit at the "Pantone table" and sample the monochromatic dishes prepared by the guest chefs. The added value of this initiative lies in showcasing and promoting local and regional products through the design and social media presence of all the chefs and participants. Those interested in participating can follow and learn more about the contest through Intro Agencia's social media channels. The event will take place on Sunday, March 10th at 8:00 PM in SaborArte's main tent.
The councilor for commerce and hospitality, María Jesús López, head of SaborArte and president of the jury, said that “it has been very interesting to be able to study all the proposals submitted by the agencies, as it brings a fresh perspective to the gastronomic fair, which is attracting more and more restaurants and visitors.” López also stated that “the other projects were also very fun and original, but the winning one offers the fair greater media exposure and an added aesthetic touch.”
The organization thanks everyone for their participation and confirms "almost with complete certainty" that there will be a second edition of this SaborArte competition.
