The explosion of color of the Cieza Blossoms on the verge of spring brings us one of the last highlights of this 2018 edition with the fourth edition of the Cieza 10k 'Blossom of Cieza', a test organized by the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Agony, with the collaboration of the Cieza City Council, will be this Saturday, March 17, with the start and finish at the Esquina del Convento.
There will be two races, 10 km and 5 km respectively, and a mini race for the little ones.
At the official presentation of the race, the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and the president of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Agony, José Villa, agreed that the goal is to increase participation and permanently include it in the calendar of sporting events under the Floración program.
The route will follow an urban course, totaling 10 kilometers in two laps for the senior event, and a single 5-kilometer lap for the short event. Both competitions will start at 6:00 p.m.
This year, as a new feature, a children's race called "Mini-K" will be held, aimed at children's categories. It will begin at 5:00 p.m., also starting from Esquina del Convento.
It's worth remembering that the 4th #Cieza10k 'Floración de Cieza' will feature a charity challenge: participants will donate one kilo of non-perishable food to various local social and humanitarian organizations.
