Pedro Ortiz López, a young trombonist from Cieza and member of the Cieza Municipal Music Band, has won 1st prize for Composition in the III Young Composers Competition organized by the Murcia Professional Music Conservatory.
Due to the current situation and the hygiene and social distancing measures adopted to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the organizers of the 3rd Composition Competition "Young Composers of the Region of Murcia" have decided to cancel the Concert of finalist works and convene the jury members to issue their decision, which is made public below:

The winning piece will be performed at the "Santa Cecilia 2020" Faculty Concert, which will take place on Friday, November 20th in the multipurpose hall of the Murcia Conservatory of Music. Due to reduced capacity, the concert will be streamed online. subsequently through channel 7 TV Region of Murcia.
