"The 'Move towards your future' project has already begun, which has as its main objective to promote the employability of 10 people with disabilities from the town of Cieza through their training as service assistants," reports the Employment Department.
The training activity developed and delivered by FAMDIF/COCEMFE-MURCIA is funded through the Operational Program for Social Inclusion and Social Economy (POISES) 2014-2020. Co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). Thematic Objective 9, Investment Priority 9.1. Specific Objective 9.1.2 relates to increasing the hiring of people with disabilities who are at risk of exclusion or who are in a situation of exclusion. The training course includes 300 hours of specific training for the occupation of Service Assistant, cross-curricular training, individual tutoring and job guidance, and support for job placement. It also includes 100 hours of in-person training.
The theoretical training is being conducted at INFOEM, facilities provided by the Cieza City Council, thanks to the agreement signed in 2019 with FAMDIF/COCEMFEMURCIA regarding employment and training. With the aim of achieving the highest possible job placement rate, FAMDIF/COCEMFE-MURCIA will conduct a business outreach program in the Cieza area, contacting and visiting companies in the Vega Alta del Segura region and the rest of the Region of Murcia.
