The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio; the director of the IMAS Senior Citizens' Social Center, Francisca Sánchez; and Teresa Soriano, coordinator of senior citizen activities at the Las Morericas Municipal Center, presented the 2025 Golden Weeks program this Thursday.
This is a set of activities aimed at this group of people, primarily users of the aforementioned center, as well as those of the Las Morericas Municipal Senior Center.
The program includes a variety of recreational and cultural activities that will take place during the months of October and November, such as guided tours, dances, trips, a luncheon, lectures, sports and board games, theater, a concert, a fishing contest, and more.
The 'Solidarity for Seniors' closing gala will be held on Wednesday the 29th, and the proceeds from ticket sales (€3) will be donated to ACIFAD. During the evening, the 'Senior of the Year 2025' award will be announced.
