La Fea Burguesía Ediciones launches a new title in its poetry collection: 'Memoirs of the Ghost' by the Cieza-born author Miguel Ángel Ortega Lucas.

Memories of the Ghost, which was a finalist for the Adonais Prize in 2014, was presented on December 14th at the Xelavid venue in Madrid, with a recital of the poetry collection by the author himself.

In Memoirs of a Ghost, Ortega Lucas tells us “the ghost as that tenacious remorse of what happened (or never happened) and that continues to watch us, silent, with its rainy eyes from the corner, waiting for the spell that will absolve it. But also that hallucinated spell, that sorcery, that steals our eyes and our breathing and our voice to give us a glimpse of the other side; to lead us by the hand, sleepwalkers, to the other shore: where love resides.”

Thus, with the poetry collection Memorias del fantasma (Memories of the Ghost), Miguel Ángel Ortega Lucas joins the cast of Murcian poets published by La Fea Burguesía Ediciones, whose books are published exclusively in paperback and can be purchased at the retail price of €10.

La Fea Burguesía Ediciones is aware of the need for natural resources to consume culture and of the need to collaborate in environmental conservation. Thus, for the printing of this book, it has planted a cypress tree in the El Horno area of Cieza (Murcia).
