The Santa María Magdalena Brotherhood announces that this year, as is customary, the tenth edition of the 11 km charity race will be held alongside the Cieza City Half Marathon on December 2, 2018.
The brotherhood has decided that this year one euro of each runner's registration will go to the association. “Down Cieza”
Down Cieza was founded with the aim of achieving the full inclusion of people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in all aspects of society, both in daily life and in the workplace.
This association carries out several activities throughout the year to try to spread the word and achieve its goals, organizing races, walks, meetings, talks and, above all, promoting the group through the #kmxlainclusion challenge.
For all these reasons, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Magdalene believes this association deserves our small contribution, so that it can continue developing its social work. We also publicly express our gratitude for its work and efforts to integrate people with disabilities.
