The Meteorological Department has extended its warnings for tomorrow, warnings of up to 25 liters per square meter of rain in one hour and thunderstorms.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) warns that tomorrow, Friday the 27th, rainfall of up to 25 liters per square meter in one hour could occur in Vega del Segura, Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas, and the Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón regions.

Therefore, it has issued a yellow-level adverse weather warning for rain and storms in these areas between midnight and 6 p.m. on the aforementioned date.

Aemet specifies that the yellow level warning for storms indicates that "locally heavy rain and/or locally strong winds and/or hail less than 2 cm in size are expected. Due to the nature of these phenomena, there is a possibility of higher intensity storms occurring occasionally."
