The 'La Convocatoria' Association of Cieza, as is tradition, will announce the beginning of Lent with the roll of its drums and the sound of its bass drums. This will take place next Wednesday, the 6th. Ash, at 9:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor of #Cieza.
Drummers from other parts of the Murcia region, including Torres de Cotillas and Jumilla, will accompany the Cieza drums and bass drums in "La Rompida" (The Rompida) and the subsequent parade through Cieza's old town. The parade will run as follows: Plaza Mayor, El Cid, Los Pinos, Calle Larga, Buitragos, San Sebastián, Mesones, Calle Angostos, and Canovas del Castillo, ending in the Plaza Mayor. The authorized time is from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
