In response to Order SND/370/2020 of April 25, regarding the conditions under which children must travel during the COVID-19 health crisis, the Cieza City Council clarifies:
- Anyone with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or who is in quarantine, including children and adolescents, may not leave their homes.
- The permitted hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., for one hour starting Sunday, April 26, within a radius of approximately one kilometer from the home.
- It is essential to respect the social distancing measures dictated by health authorities and avoid interacting with members of other family units.
- Walks must be accompanied by a responsible adult of legal age who currently lives with the child or is a domestic worker responsible for the child. When the adult accompanying the child is not the parent, guardian, foster parent, or legal or de facto custodian, they must have their authorization. An adult may walk with a maximum of three minors.
- In Cieza, parks and gardens, as well as the Riverside Walk, will reopen so that children can enjoy these walks in a natural environment, but it is essential to be responsible and take extreme precautions. Children's playgrounds will be sealed and closed, so their use, as well as the use of street furniture, is prohibited. Due to this reopening, daily disinfection efforts in parks and gardens will be intensified, but it is important to maintain caution.
We continue to find ourselves in a serious health crisis, and now more than ever, it is essential not to relax the measures and not let down our guard in the precautions we must take to overcome this terrible pandemic. In this regard, police and Civil Guard controls will be intensified to continue ensuring compliance with the regulations.
We appeal to the responsibility and consistency demonstrated so far by the people of Cieza, to comply with the regulations issued for the release of our minors, and to work together to gradually return to normal.
