The New Los Albares Foundation, in collaboration with the Cieza City Council and individuals, is collaborating with various initiatives to continue supporting the effective integration of people with disabilities.
On the one hand, the New Los Albares Foundation, in collaboration with the Cieza City Council, has created commemorative cards for the Cieza Flowering Season. The creation of these eco-friendly cards with seeds, which germinate if buried, was carried out by NFLA users, "further proof that all barriers can be broken if we have the right resources," say municipal sources.
Cristina García-Vaso, Head of Social Welfare and Director of the Foundation, emphasized that "This initiative allows, on the one hand, foundation users to make cards in various workshops. These cards are purchased by the city council, and the profits from these cards are used to improve the facilities, space, and staff at Los Albares."
"This is yet another example of the human-centered approach carried out in collaboration with the Departments of Disability and Tourism, and which continues the firm steps that characterize the municipal government toward the inclusion and integration of all."
Furthermore, to commemorate and foster the celebration of our flowering, an exhibition of Ciezan artists will be held at the Molino Cebolla Museum, organized by Carlos J. Lucas González. The museum councilor, Pilar Martínez, expressed her "delight to be able to put public resources at the service of integration."
The works will combine different artistic techniques. Based on photographs of the Cieza Flowering, taken by the organizer, various artists will bring to life their own reinterpretation of the image, adding their own personal and artistic touch.
Among the works on display will be a mural created by NFLA members themselves, thus becoming part of this event and highlighting the work carried out by this foundation to promote the integration and inclusion of people with disabilities. The proceeds from the event will go to this foundation.
