New decline in CHS reservations

The Segura River Basin Authority (Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura) reports in its weekly bulletin on the status of the reservoirs that they have again registered a decline this week.

 

The CHS indicates that the total decrease in the reservoirs belonging to the Segura Basin is 6 hm3.

 

The reservoirs hold a total of 476 hm3, which places them at 41.75 % of their total capacity.

 

Among the reservoirs, the following have decreased: Cenajo and Fuensanta by 3 hm3, La Pedrera by 2 hm3, Alfonso XIII and Argos by 1 hm3. The following have increased: El Talave by 2 hm3, Camarillas and Crevillente by 1 hm3.

 

Last year the Basin was at 47.46 % capacity, accumulating 541 hm3.
