The Cieza Sports Club reports that Paco García Ibáñez (Murcia, August 31, 1972) becomes the new coach of the first team for the 2023/2024 season.
The Murcia-born coach has extensive experience in our regional football and has thus become one of the most recognized coaches in the region. He began his career in coaching, managing teams such as Muleño CF, CD Bala Azul and Mazarrón CF, in the Third Division. One of his golden stages was with the Mar Menor CF, where he spent 4 years with the Mar Menorense team, with whom he played in the promotion phase to 2ºB in all the seasons in which he managed the El Pitín team, reaching the final in the last campaign. After those magnificent seasons, where they were one step away from promotion to the bronze category, he joined the Real Murcia reserve team in the 2014/2015 season, with whom they finished second in Group XIII of the Third Division. In the season 2015/2016 debuted in 2ºB with La Hoya Lorca CF.
In the 2016/2017 season, Paco García signed with the first team of Real Murcia CF, in 2ºB, as the coach of the Region's first team, and it was a difficult experience due to the demanding nature of managing a giant in the category like the Pimentonero team. After being dismissed from the Grana team in February 2017, he would return to Mar Menor CF, in two different stages, one in the 2017/2018 season and the other in the 2019/2020 season, both in the Third Division.
The new Espartero coach arrives at the team accompanied by two people he trusts the most, such as Andrés Marín and Daffodil, who will be accompanied by part of last season's coaching staff such as César Rivera, Paco Monteagudo or Francisco José Martínez.
