The Parish of San Joaquín prepares the events for the celebration of Candlemas with the Solemn Triduum in preparation for the Virgin of Candelaria.
Days: January 30, 31, and February 1, 2020.
Acts: 6:55 p.m. Rosary and Meditation of the Exercise.
7:30 p.m. Mass with the Parish Choir.
On the occasion of the celebration of Candlemas, or the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, we invite you to bring your child who was baptized last year to church. Godparents and the entire community of Cieza are also invited.
On February 2nd, Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m., followed by a procession with the image of the Virgin and Child. With the collaboration of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Forgiveness and the Virgin of Beautiful Love.
The route is: Corner of the Convent, Paseo (left side), Paseo (right side), and Corner of the Convent.
In this way we accompanied the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph when they took their Child to the Temple.
With this celebration, we want to celebrate the gift of life received from God through our parents and the commitment to proclaim the Gospel of life entrusted to us by Jesus Christ.
