Mayor Pascual Lucas and Councilor for Agriculture Antonio Moya met this week with all the residents of the Entrerramblas area. The meeting's objective was to obtain firsthand information on the problems in the area, provide information on everything the government has done so far, and discuss the necessary actions to meet the ongoing demands of these residents.
In this way, the representatives of the Executive confirmed that the first action on rural roads in 2018, to which the councilor committed, was the one carried out last January on this road, "in the part where we have the land available and which is included in the catalog of municipal roads, providing the corresponding service up to the exit to the B-19 highway and the national 301 via the Chapa Bridge."
Likewise, Lucas and Moya reiterated information previously provided to residents in other meetings, clarifying the ongoing problems with continuing work on the other section of the road leading to Tamarit. "On this route, the City Council is encountering various administrative obstacles due to the private ownership of part of the road that needs to be repaired. If this situation isn't resolved, the City Council can't work on this specific section, not because it doesn't want to, but because it would be committing a crime."
To expedite the resolution of this condition, the mayor expressed his willingness to assist them in resolving it as quickly as possible by facilitating their administrative work by providing them with the necessary documentation to expedite the process, as well as the cadastral file, in order to expedite the land transfer process for these residents, since the final stage of these cadastral procedures is personal and non-transferable.
Municipal sources confirm that, once the administrative process is in order and all the necessary procedures have been completed, Councilor Antonio Moya, representing the governing team, will submit to the plenary session the corresponding agreement to include this road in the Catalogue of Rural Roads of Cieza, and, consequently, its repairs can be undertaken.
These sources affirm that, "the governing team continues to work on managing and improving the quality of our municipality. Cieza needed a lot of attention due to the length of its neglect, so we continue to work to the best of our ability."
