This Friday, February 23rd at 10:30 pm, we'll have Alejandra Martinez de Miguel at Aristogatos Coffee, Camino de Murcia 12. Winner of the Madrid Poetry Slam, she has managed to create a feminist poem using only verses from sexist songs that has more than 2,500,000 views on Facebook.
Alejandra Martínez de Miguel (Spain, 1994) graduated in Dramatic Arts from the Cristina Rota School of Acting and is also a psychology student at the Complutense University of Madrid. She works as an actress and theater director in various venues in Madrid. She collaborates on Poesía o Barbarie radio on the M21 radio station and is an active participant in Poetry Slam Madrid. She has participated in festivals such as Mediodía de Versos (Valladolid), Sacavera Sound (Pola de Siero, Asturias), and Noche en Blanco in Oviedo, as well as numerous poetry recitals.
