Through an intimate poetic voice, marked by orality, Nuria López Bernal explores herself, reveals herself, and plays with the interpellation of another woman who, at times, is herself.
"I have the habit of walking along the roads / looking to the right and to the left, / and from time to time back..." wrote Alberto Caeiro, one of Pessoa's heteronyms.
Nuria also looks inward, until the moment expands enough for us to peer inside. The result of this introspection is Hasta que seas azul (Hilatura, 2022), an expérience—in the sense of tentative and experimental—a relatable proposal, camouflaged in poems of love and heartbreak, to give voice to the things that happen to us and shape us. A call for care, respecting all its phases, and a defense of what is essential.
This Saturday, August 26th, the poetry collection "Hasta que seas azul" will be presented in Cieza at 9:30 p.m. at the Atalaya Club.
Free admission.
