The new season of craft markets is presented

Ana Salmerón, Councilor for Crafts of the Cieza City Council, and Ana Salar, president of the Cieza Artisans Association, have presented the new 2025-2026 season of the Cieza Artisan Market.

As in previous years, the market will be held every second Sunday of the month, with the first being next Sunday, October 12, and the last on May 10, 2026.

The location will be the usual one, at the Corner of the Convent, except for specific modifications due to special situations.

Salmerón emphasized that "the market is not just a place for buying and selling; it's the living heart of our traditions, a meeting point for preserving artisanal trades, promoting local commerce, and boosting tourism."

This season, there will be special editions of the activity. Salar announced that the Ascoy Craftsmen's Association and the Residents' Association will collaborate on the event "We continue to give cancer the cold shoulder" (November 1-2) to benefit the fight against childhood cancer.

The traditional Christmas market on December 21st will not be missing, with the location yet to be confirmed. Nor will the special Floración market, one of the most anticipated of the year.

Both Salmerón and Salar have invited all local artisans to join this season by contacting the local council.
