Next Saturday, November 25, the Brotherhood of Souls will celebrate its traditional Procession of Promises through the streets of the San José Obrero neighborhood.
The closing ceremony of the events honoring "Jesus Opening the Gates of Hell" begins with the celebration of Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish of San José Obrero. Following the Mass, around 8:00 p.m., the Procession of Promises will begin. Our titular figure, the Christ of Souls, will parade through the following streets: Avenida de Abarán (towards Abarán), Gregorio Marañón, Paseo de Ronda, Daoiz y Velarde, Dr. Fleming, Avenida de Abarán, ending at the Parish of San José Obrero.
Anyone who wishes to do so may march, carrying the Cristo de Ánimas on their shoulders, preferably in dark street clothes. We invite all those who wish, men and women, young and old, to participate in this traditional procession.
