The new program for the Magic Film Week has been presented. This summer, and every August for the past 28 years, the Magic Film Club La Linterna Mágika has brought us the event. Organized by the La Empedrá Association, the Atalaya Ateneo de la Villa Club, and in collaboration with the Cieza City Council and the University of Murcia, it is bringing together the festivals.
As is also customary around the screenings, a series of exhibitions will take place protesting what is happening in Cieza. This year there will be four exhibitions: 'Fracking in Cieza, a monster comes to see us', 'The carpet of corruption, road to perdition', 'The Maripinar elm grove, apathy under the elms' and 'Charlot, a worker in an esparto factory, modern times'.
This year's program consists of eight screenings, which will run from Tuesday, August 15th to Tuesday, August 22nd.
