The new program will feature performances by renowned artists such as Lola Herrera, Lola Bladrich, Ana Labordeta, Gabino Diego, Javier Gutiérrez, Antonio Hidalgo, Martita de Graná, and Magician Yunque.
The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and the Councilor for Culture, Concepción Villa, presented the Capitol Theater's program for the January-May period this Wednesday. The new program offers a wide and varied cultural offering, beginning on January 27th and ending on May 19th.
Theater will be the centerpiece, and humor and music will continue to be featured in various shows. As a new addition to the program, a magic show featuring world champion magician Yunque has been included.
Seven plays have been scheduled. January 27th will kick off with "Between the Glass," performed by Juanjo Artero. February 10th will see "The Curve of Happiness," featuring Gabino Diego. Following this, on March 25th, Lola Herrera, Lola Baldrich, and Ana Labordeta will perform "Addicts." April 14th will see "The Meerkat's Perspective," a play created and directed by Murcia natives Pepe Galera and Rocío Bernal. April 21st will feature "The Holy Innocents," a grand adaptation of Miguel Delibes' classic, featuring award-winning actor Javier Gutiérrez, among others. And on May 5th, La Murga Teatro, one of the most veteran theater production companies in the Region of Murcia, will perform "Tick-Tock Poe."
Children's theater will also be present on May 1 and 13 with performances of the plays "Cris, Little Brave One" and "Izadi."
Music will also be provided by Antonio Hidalgo's show 'Díselo cantando' on February 17.
This time, the comedy will be delivered in a female-led way on February 4th, featuring four renowned stand-up comedians: Martita de Graná, Car de Lorenzo, Antonia Triviño, and Ana Bravo.
Finally, magic will also be a featured feature in this varied program through the show "Origen" by award-winning Magician Yunke.
Furthermore, the Cieza City Council, in an effort to promote cultural consumption, continues to offer discounts for youth season tickets for those under 25 years of age, the unemployed, and large families.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Capitol Theater box office on Tuesdays, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as two hours before the start of each performance.
