The Councilor for Sports, Cristo Manuel Lucas, and the president of the Cieza Bikers Club, Daniel Marín, accompanied by the president of Cycling for the Region of Murcia, Miguel Fernández, presented the 1st XCO Ciudad de Cieza, which will be held on Sunday, March 17.
Cyclists from across the Murcia region will take part in this event, which marks the return of cycling competitions to Cieza after a long time.
The event, organized by the Cieza Bikers cycling school, counts toward the regional championship and will take place on the circuit located next to the Rambla del Moro. It will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the schools on a circuit prepared for their age group and skill levels. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the remaining disciplines will compete in two heats. The first will feature masters and girls, and the second, at 12:30 p.m., will feature elite, under-23, and masters 30 on a 4.5-kilometer circuit located next to the Morrón River on the Rambla del Moro.
